Aero Inspection was delighted to partake in a trade mission to Singapore with the Irish Deputy Prime Minister (An Tánaiste) and Minister for Trade and Innovation Mrs Frances Fitzgerald TD. The mission comprised 60 companies, and the Tánaiste was also joined by Enterprise Ireland CEO Julie Sinnamon and IDA Ireland’s Head of Growth Markets Eileen Sharpe.
The trade mission saw Aero Inspection’s Managing Director -Asia, Peter Bagnell join the panel for a round table discussion on how Ireland and Singapore can work together going forward. Partaking in the discussion were several Irish companies, which have established bases in Singapore, and members of the AAIS (Association of Aerospace Industries [Singapore])
“It was a very insightful discussion which focused on competitivity and innovation within the aviation industry.
Key points on how Ireland and Singapore can continue to work together were outlined. The round table discussion was an excellent opportunity for companies such as Aero Inspection to give a first-hand account of what is involved in establishing a presence in the Asia market place” said Peter Bagnell.
Aero Inspection opened its Asia office in Singapore in July 2014. The company is providing Return Off Lease Management solutions for aircraft leasing companies and airlines. From their Singapore office Aero Inspection is supporting clients in China, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, The Philippines, Korea and Japan.
“Over the past three years we have built a strong team of highlyskilled engineers within the region. Connectivity from Singapore is excellent which means that we can reduce lead times and costs for providing our services within the region.
We are providing full return off lease management solutions, EASA and FAA approved Borescope Inspections, and EASA Part 21J approved modification & repair designs” concluded Peter.
