Peter Bagnell
Peter Bagnell (M.A (Hons), B. Sc (Hons)) is the Chief Executive Officer of Aero Inspection’s Asia office. He has held this position since 2014.
Peter holds a Master’s in Business Management and a Degree in Material Science from the University of Limerick. He also holds a Diploma in Aviation Leasing and Finance from the Law Society of Ireland.
He has been working in the company since 2009, and has held many positions within the organisation. Peter is also Quality Manager for the company.
Peter was the winner of the ‘Upcoming Aviation Professional’ category at the IAA Aviation Industry Awards 2014.
Chief Commercial Officer
Owen Bagnell
Owen Bagnell (BSc. Spec Dip, MBA) is the Chief Commercial Officer for Aero Inspection. He is based in the Shannon office and is leading the company’s expansion into the Middle East. He is the winner of the Upcoming Aviation Professional 2019 at the Irish Aviation Awards. Owen controls the EMEA 145 side of the business as well as the Part 21 J and G. He has a BSc in computer science, a specialist diploma in aviation leasing and finance, and an MBA with an aviation stream.
Advisor to the Board
Liam Bagnell
Liam Bagnell (MBA) has over 45 years’ experience in the aviation industry. Liam has been with the Irish Air Corps, Aer Lingus and went on to found Aero Inspection in 2003.
As well as possessing Part 66 licences on almost all types of modern commercial airliners, Liam holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Limerick in Aviation Management.
Liam is an approved borescoper, an FAA IA, and holds a PPL.
Accounts Receivable Manager
Ann Bagnell
As a founding member of Aero Inspection with her husband Liam Bagnell, she has been instrumental to the success of the company. Since its foundation in 2004, the company has become a thriving business winning many awards.
In addition to her responsibilities as Accounts Receivable Manager, Ann leads the Aircraft Weighing Department and has ensured that Aero Inspection has become a leading aircraft weighing contractor on the island of Ireland. Additionally, she manages the commercial elements of the Aero Inspection Battery Shop.
She has a certificate from the Law Society of Ireland in Aviation Leasing and Finance.
Ann qualified as a registered nurse, midwife, and chiropodist. She successfully ran her own chiropody practice for 30 years.
Compliance Director
Robert Zimmermann
Robert Zimmermann is the Compliance Director for Aero Inspection. Robert started his aviation career as a maintenance engineer with Lufthansa. While gathering qualifications in the cockpit as pilot and flight instructor he also received his aircraft inspectors license. He has been managing aircraft maintenance, airworthiness and operations since 1995, starting in General Aviation and working his way through to large transport category aircraft. For almost 2 decades, Robert has been acting as owner and operator representative on VIP and VVIP large aircraft and helicopters and has gathered significant expertise in complex and specialized operation set-ups. Additionally, Robert used his experience to the benefit of design and production organizations by managing their quality departments. Amongst other additional qualifications, Robert is an External Auditor law DIN EN ISO19011 and had been appointed as quality representative by several aircraft manufacturers.
Finance Director
Lino Varghese
Lino Varghese (MBA) has over ten years’ experience in accounting, auditing, budgeting, valuations, risk management, feasibility analysis, and market research.
He has a Master’s in Finance & Accounting, a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Lino is a key member of the Aero Inspection finance team.

Eric Loi
Eric Loi is the Vice President Sales for Aero Inspection based in the Singapore office.
Eric’s aviation career began in ST Aviation Services Company upon graduating from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. During his nineteen-year career in the aviation industry, Eric has managed to gain experience that runs from engineering services, technical sales, key account management, corporate strategy, customer support, and purchasing.
Eric is currently expanding Aero Inspection’s whole portfolio of services and products in the Asia Pacific and Middle East region.
Vice President Sales
Micheál Murray
Joining Aero Inspection in the Vice-President of Sales role, Micheál is primarily responsible for generating sales in Europe and North Africa and supporting our customers there.
Micheál is a graduate of Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Limerick and brings a strong background both technically and commercially in aviation having worked as a CAMO Engineer early in his career and as an Account Manager with Boeing, where he supported both leasing companies and airlines.
In addition to his undergrad degree, Micheál has a diploma in Aviation Finance and Leasing from City Colleges, Dublin.
Micheál has had a lifelong passion for aviation ever since seeing the first commercial flights land at Knock Airport as a child and having completed some of the necessary exams and flight hours has ambitions to gain his PPL in the near future
Operations Manager Europe
Nicola DiLucia
Nicola is a highly experienced multi-lingual professional, with 20 years of experience across multiple industries, having worked in Account Management, Customer Service and Order Management roles to date. She has recently started her career in the Aviation sector by joining Aero Inspection International as Operations Manager in Shannon, Ireland. Nicola is responsible for coordinating operations in EMEA and liaising with customers, engineers, and Inspectors across the globe. She is currently undertaking a Business Management Diploma which will enhance her skills and aid in her adaption to the new role of Operations Manager and her new career in the Aviation world.
Europe Manager
Duncan Duffield
Duncan started in aviation in 1989 as a British Airways apprentice and polished his skills over the next 15 years in major modifications and maintenance. He has an EASA licence on a wide array of aircraft like B747, B777, A320, A330, A340, and the iconic Concorde. He has worked with a number of UK based airlines on both line and base maintenance. After spending some time as a travelling technical representative Duncan decided to settle down with Aero Inspection. Duncan’s passion has always been engines, no doubt sparked by working on the unparalleled ‘Olympus’ Concorde engine early on in his career and he is now known as the go-to expert in the borescope business.
Compliance Verification Engineer
Handy Wijaya
Handy Wijaya (M.B.A., B. Eng (Hons)) works in Aero Inspection’s Asia office as a Part 21 Design Engineer and Compliance Verification Engineer. He is tasked to build the Part 21 design capability within the Singapore office, and to provide the unparalleled support and turnkey solutions to Aero Inspection’s customers in the region.
Handy has a Master’s in Business Administration from University of Strathclyde (Glasgow) and a Degree in Mechanical and Production Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore).
His engineering career started in 2004. In 2009 he joined the aviation industry at Jamco Aero Design & Engineering (JADE) and in 2015 he made the move to the The Boeing Company in Singapore (later known as Boeing Asia Pacific Aviation Services).
Aircraft Re/Delivery Manager
Dennis Chua
Dennis is employed with Aero Inspection as an Aircraft Re/Delivery Manager.
He is a Licenced Aircraft Engineer and has worked in ST Aerospace Services, and Airbus FHS TSP before joining Aero Inspection. Within these companies he was involved in light and heavy maintenance checks, and managing aircraft delease checks.
Dennis is now managing aircraft which are returning off lease on behalf of lessors. He has extensive experience dealing with lessors, lessees, and MROs on Boeing and Airbus Aircraft.
AIRCRAFT RE/DELIVERY MANAGER & TECHNICAL SERVICES MANAGER
Deepa Kishnani
Deepa is employed with Aero Inspection as an Aircraft Re/Delivery Manager & Technical Services Manager.
She is an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer and has had an enriching experience with multiple airlines and asset management companies. Throughout her career Deepa has been involved in managing aircraft returning off lease, fleet transitions, department setups, and managing continued airworthiness of fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft.
Deepa manages a team carrying out Entry Into Service (EIS) and End of Lease (EOL) record audits. Deepa is also a key figure in Aero Inspection Part CAMO.
Redelivery Manager
Kar Chun Hung
Kar Chun Chung is employed as a Redelivery Manager for Aero Inspection.
He has over 40 years experience in the aviation industry, beginning his career with Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company in 1980, and has worked with ST Aerospace in Singapore as a Licensed Engineer (Airbus, Boeing, and McDonald Douglas) and Project Manager, as well as the PPC Manager in ST Aerospace Guangzhou, China.
Kar currently manages End of Lease aircraft on behalf of lessors, facilitating next operator queries on technical and document matters.
Senior Inspector
Gary Tan
Gary is based in Singapore and has extensive experience working on turbine engines. In 1982 Gary began his aviation engineering career by joining the Singapore Royal Air Force.
After leaving the air force Gary joined ST Aerospace where he worked in the engine overhaul shop and the Onwing Support Division.
Gary has over 30 years’ experience working in aviation and is an excellent contributor to the Aero Inspection family.
Aircraft Redelivery Manager
Jimmy Tay
Jimmy is employed with Aero Inspection as an Aircraft Re/Delivery Manager.
Riding on his childhood dream, Jimmy began his Aviation career as a Licensed Engineer with ST Aerospace Engineering. From 2010, he joined Jetstar Asia as a Line Maintenance Engineer, Onboard Engineer and Maintenance Ops Controller. Subsequently, he joined Air Canada for 6 Years as a Technical Representative managing Heavy Maintenance Checks and Cabin Conversions. He has also accumulated Passenger-To-Freighter Conversion, Engine Component Workshop and Aircraft Transition experiences in his illustrious 17 years career.
Jimmy is now managing aircrafts which are returning off lease on behalf of both lessees and lessors. He has extensive experience dealing with Lessors, Lessees, MROs and Component Vendors on Narrow/Wide Body Boeing & Airbus Aircrafts and Major Powerplant Manufacturers.
Borescope Inspector
Ken Sim
Ken is a certifying Borescope Inspector at Aero Inspection and is based in Singapore. Ken has over 15 years of aviation experience and holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
He started his aviation career with the Republic of Singapore Airforce (RSAF) as an Airframe and Engine certified specialist for the F-16D Fighter Jet.
Upon leaving the Air Force in 2012, Ken joined Singapore Aero Engine Services (SAESL) where he worked in the Engine test cell department as a borescope inspector (Approval Holder). Here he developed excellent skills and knowledge on commercial Engines.
Borescope Inspector
Noble George
Noble George is a Borescope Inspector with Aero Inspection. Before joining Aero Inspection Noble was a Borescope Inspection instructor with Pratt and Whitney. He is also a P&W qualified instructor for level 1,3,4 and 5 training on PW1100G-JM engine.
Noble started his aviation career in 2007 as aircraft maintenance trainee, after graduating in Mechanical engineering. He holds EASA approval as a type training Instructor as well as a BAMEEC from DGCA, India.
Over the course of his career he honed his skills for aircraft powerplant. He has worked in borescope inspection and training, development of repair process for engine components, engine shop process planning, and life cycle cost reduction.
Borescope Inspector
Weekiat Tee
Weekiat is a Borescope Inspector at Aero Inspection and is based in our Singapore office. He has over 11 years of aviation experience and holds a Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering. His aviation career began in 2010 with Singapore Aero Engine Services (SAESL) where he worked as an engine technician in the Engine Production department, as well as a Borescope Inspector (Approval Holder). Weekiat has more than 10 year of borescope inspection experience.

Miao Zong
Miao Zong is a Powerplant Engineer & Borescope Inspector with Aero Inspection based in China. He graduated in 2010 from Changsha Aeronautical Vocational and Technical College majoring in Powerplant Maintenance. Miao has recently completed a Bachelor Degree in Aircraft Manufacturing Engineering at the Civil Aviation Flight University of China.
Miao has been working as a Powerplant Engineer and Borescope Inspector since 2010. Throughout these positions he has garnered a rich experience of engine shop visit management, powerplant technical records review and borescope inspections.

Farish Abdul Kareem
Farish Abdul Kareem is working in Aero Inspection’s Singapore office as a Powerplant Engineer. He is supporting borescope inspections and engine record reviews. Farish is an Aerospace Engineering graduate from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. He is passionate about aircraft and their operations. He strongly believes in technology’s role in creating a better world.

Adnan Saifuddin Goolamabbas
Adnan Saifuddin Goolamabbas joined Aero Inspection in November 2022 and is based in our Singapore office. He is an Aviation enthusiast since young and is very passionate about aircraft maintenance and its operations.
Adnan started his aviation career with Singapore Airlines Engineering Company (SIAEC) as an Aircraft Technician, and was assigned to an Engine change team, specialising in aircraft engine removal and installation.
Adnan graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a Degree in Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics, and he also holds a Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering from Nanyang Polytechnic.
He works as part of our EASA/FAA Part-145 team of Engineers and Certifying Borescope Inspectors.

Ankit Parmar
Ankit Parmar has been an aviation professional with over 16 years of experience in various roles of Aircraft Maintenance, Planning and Technical Records. He started his journey with Air Sahara in 2006, then joined Jet Airways in 2007 and recently has served in Air Vistara for more than a period of 4 years. Ankit holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Aeronautical Engineering and Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering.
He is passionate about Airplanes. In his leisure time he likes to swim and travel.
Powerplant Engineer
Wayne Lim
Wayne Lim joined Aero Inspection as a powerplant engineer, leveraging his valuable experience as a Level 2 Borescope Inspector at SAESL Singapore. He holds an Applied Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance from the Air Transport Training College (ATTC) and a Diploma in Operation and System Management from Temasek Polytechnic.
Wayne has actively participated in the aviation industry since 2018, with a focus on powerplant-related activities. In addition, he is currently pursuing a part-time degree in Business Analytics at Singapore University of Social Science, showcasing his commitment to enhancing his knowledge and business skills
Nacelle Inspector
Jeremy Choo
Jeremy brings over two decades of expertise in Nacelle repair and inspections. His aviation journey began in 1986 as an Aircraft Technician at Singapore Aerospace Manufacturing, progressing to specialize in Nacelles repair and inspections at Goodrich Aerostructures Singapore and Lufthansa Technik Middle East in Dubai.
Jeremy played a pivotal role in supporting Emirates Airlines for seven years, concentrating on Nacelle Service Bulletin incorporation for the B777 fleet. Following this, he made a permanent move to Dubai, contributing his skills as a Lead Inspector at Lufthansa Technik Middle East, with a primary focus on Nacelles and thrust reversers inspections.
In 2023, Jeremy returned to Singapore, continuing his career journey with Aero Inspection as a Nacelle Inspector, where he oversees the Nacelle division, further enriching his wealth of nacelle inspection experience.

Min Khant Ko
Min Khant Ko as known as Kane, started working as a Bookkeeper at Aero Inspection on 14 May 2024. He have graduated with the Bachelor of Commerce from Yangon University of Economics and had over four years of experience in Accounting and Auditing field.
