The Role:
Duties & Responsibility:
Â
- Post holder for companies Part 145, Part CAMO, Part 21J, and Part 21G disciplines.
- Lead the implementation of SMS within the organisation.
- Lead the quality / compliance, & safety department across the company
- Carry out Quality Audits as part of our 12-month audit cycle on Part 145, Part 21J, Part21G, and CAMO when approved.
- Maintain the quality feedback system to oversee the handling of occurrences.
- Liaise with the Competent Authorities.
- Develop procedures manuals for expansion as the company needs new approvals or as regulation changes require it.
- Deliver training on quality / compliance matters.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Â
- 5+ years working in a compliance / quality role.
- Minimum 15 years working in aviation (large commercial aircraft)
- Experience in aviation management.
- Minimum Level 7 degree or Part 66 qualification in relevant field.
- Allowed to live and work in Ireland.
- Ability to lead a team and work on own initiative.
- Computer literate.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills.Â

The Role:
Aero Inspection requires an experienced aircraft engine Borescope Inspector based in Shannon Ireland. The inspector will join Aero Inspection’s EASA / FAA Part 145 approved MRO as Certifying Staff. This role involves carrying out full front to back inspections on a wide variety of engines, interpreting damage, generating reports, and handling customer queries.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Borescope Inspections on aircraft engines and APUs
- Supporting borescope teams from office with engineering queries.
- Dealing with customers on engineering queries
- Borescope Inspection Witnesses.
- Engine QEC Inventory.
- Borescope Inspection Desktop Reviews
- Engine Technical Record Reviews.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience working in an engine shop/base maintenance
- Be competent in borescope inspections
- Fluent in English (Verbal and Written)
- High attention to detail
- A professional demeanour
- The ability to travel around Europe Visa free
