Aero Inspection is delighted to announce that it has achieved EASA and FAA approval for borescope inspections on the Pratt & Whitney PW1000G engines. These approvals come after an extensive OEM training programme conducted with Pratt & Whitney. The course was delivered through a mix of classroom & practical training and through the use of virtual reality headsets.
This allowed the engineers to virtually delve into the innerworkings of the engine which otherwise would be inaccessible.The PW1000G is currently selected as the exclusive engine for the Airbus A320neo, Airbus A220, Mitsubishi Regional Jet(MRJ), and Embraer’s second generation E-Jets, and as an option on the Irkut
