Aero Inspection is honoured to be the winner of the 2019 MRO Achievement Award. This is the second consecutive year that Aero Inspection has won this award. The award was received by members of the Bagnell family during the ceremony at the Clayton Hotel Dublin on the 12th of July 2019.

A lot of time and effort from all of our team goes into developing our product and services to ensure that we stay on top, and to have that recognised by such a calibre of judges is fantastic’, said Peter Bagnell, Managing Director of Aero Inspection’s Asia office.


2019 saw Owen Bagnell Director of Operations for Aero Inspection on stage to collect his Upcoming Aviation Professional of the Year award. Since Owen began working in Aero Inspection, he has taken several initiatives which have been instrumental to the growth of the company. The most recent of which was the decision to add EASA Part 21 design to the services which Aero Inspection offers. Aero Inspection Part 21 Ltd is an EASA Part 21 approved design organisation specialising in supporting airlines and aircraft lessors.


We are delighted to announce that Aero Inspection is the winner of the 2016 MRO (Maintenance Repair Overhaul) Achievement Award. The award was received by company director and founder Liam Bagnell at an evening ceremony in the Clayton Hotel Burlington Road on Dec 7th 2016

“We have a very hard working team, and are continually developing our product, capabilities and approvals. To be honoured with this award is a great recognition of what our company has accomplished” said director & company founder Liam Bagnell.

This award was in recognition of achieving EASA and FAA approval on eight new engine types, launching a nacelle inspection programme, increasing productivity by 25%, and creating several new full-time positions for skilled engineers, within the last 12-month period.

Aero Inspection is the first MRO in Ireland to achieve EASA and FAA approval for inspections on the Airbus A350 XWB engines.


Aero Inspection International is delighted to announce they are winners of the 2015 IAA Aviation Support Service Award. The announcement was made last night (28 May 2015) at the Irish aviation awards ceremony. The trophy was presented to Owen Bagnell, Operations Manager by IAA Chief Executive, Eamonn Brennan.

Aero Inspection can attribute winning this award to increasing turnover by 26%, staff numbers by 12.5%, and opening an office in Southeast Asia in the past 12 months.

As well as winning this award Aero Inspection was also shortlisted for the aviation company of the year award.

“We are absolutely thrilled to win this prestigious award” said Company Director, Ann Bagnell, “Being shortlisted to the top five aviation companies in Ireland is also a great achievement, and we are really proud of our team” she added.


In 2014 Aero Inspection was shortlisted in three categories at the inaugural Aviation Industry Awards.
